About TCC Family Health:

For over 86 years, TCC Family Health has been providing comprehensive, high-quality primary and preventive health and wellness services to underserved families in the greater Long Beach area. 

Founded in 1939 by volunteer pediatricians and community leaders, TCC began as a single site serving only children. Since then, TCC has grown into a comprehensive health center, serving all ages, with 14 sites, including three school-based sites, and a mobile medical clinic serving those experiencing homelessness. As the largest provider of care to low-income families in Long Beach, TCC provides care to almost 40,000 patients through 175,000 medical, behavioral health, dental and wellness visits annually including:

• High-quality primary and preventive health care 
• Women’s health care and prenatal care
• Chronic disease management for asthma, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and depression
• Behavioral health care including counseling, support, and medication-assisted treatment for substance use
• Dental health care
• Optometry services
• Walk-in immunizations
• Care for special populations including children with disabilities
• Care for those experiencing homelessness
• Medical-Legal Partnership wo address legal issues impacting health and wellness
• Patient Education and Care Management programs, including health education classes, case management, patient navigation and services addressing health disparities and Social Drivers of Health such as free farmers markets, food pantries, housing referrals, diapers, cribs and other essential items.

• Cal Fresh Enrollment assistance
• Newborn Home Visitation Program
• Free Farmers Markets and Food Pantries and Distributions distributing over 30,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables every month.
