Hi, I’m Joe Hower. I’m a Professional Engineer and environmental consultant, and for many years I’ve been fortunate to call Long Beach home.

Service is central to who I am. Through Rotary, I get to work alongside people who care deeply about Long Beach — supporting youth programs, literacy, and countless community initiatives. My wife Jan and I believe giving back is the best way to strengthen the city we love.

One of the most meaningful things we can do as a community is to invest in our young people. Supporting local students isn’t just about scholarships or tutoring — it’s about showing them that we believe in their potential. When we give CSULB and LBCC students the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need, we’re not only helping them succeed individually, we’re strengthening the future of Long Beach as a whole.

Please help me invest in the next generation of our leaders.

It's easy! Here on my personal page simply click on the button that says DONATE!

With much gratitude,

Joe
