Transforming Lives One Job At A Time

Why Merge Needs Your Help

This work is personal to me.

I have two nephews who have experienced foster care, and a sister who has been justice-involved and is now a single mom working hard to make ends meet. I have seen firsthand how difficult it can be to move forward when you are carrying trauma, instability, financial pressure, and very little support.

For young adults who have grown up without consistent guidance, family support, or access to the right resources, “just get a job” is not a simple solution.

Sometimes they need someone to help them find the path.

That is what Merge Opportunities does.

We connect young adults facing barriers to career training, mentorship, employer connections, job placement, and paid apprenticeship opportunities. We help them navigate the steps that can feel impossible to figure out alone.

Your donation helps remove those barriers and gives a young person something every young adult deserves: a real opportunity to build a stable career and a future they can be proud of.

This Long Beach Gives campaign will help fund apprenticeship scholarships so more young adults can access training and move toward sustainable employment.

Thank you for your support!!
