Aquatic Capital of America

Funds raised through Long Beach Gives help Aquatic Capital of America to:

1. Contribute money to local programs providing swim lessons and water safety education to at-risk youth in our community. Aquatic Capital members want to see that every Long Beach child knows how to swim. No matter your favorite water activity, knowing how to swim saves lives. 
2.  Host an annual Awards Banquet honoring significant aquatic milestones achieved by individuals and local organizations 
3. Host the Naples Island Swim event.
4. Host an annual Hall of Fame Dinner & Ceremony to honor and preserve Long Beach's rich aquatic legacy, recognizing those with extraordinary levels of success in their aquatic endeavors over a number of years
5. Support restoring wetlands & cleanup efforts in Long Beach's public waterways. Safe & clean waterways help make our city beautiful & mitigate risk for those partaking in recreational activities in and on the water

Donations to Aquatic Capital through this page are most appreciated, and will primarily be dedicated to our Waterproof Our Youth! program
