IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH!! Celebrate my birthmonth with me by considering a donation to this wonderful program!

I currently sit on the board of directors for DAYS Long Beach. Ever since experiencing a wonderful organization in Oklahoma City, providing under-served families with a 'shop on your own' style food bank, I took it upon myself to find an organization like that back home in LA. I've found it here with DAYS Long Beach.

For 50 years, DAYS Long Beach has provided low-income and under-served families with programs and opportunities to help children develop skills, build positive relationships, and keep them off the street. DAYS also provides leadership opportunities for young adults to help provide resources to get them into college and assist in joining the workforce. DAYS also provides families with a weekly free grocery and produce program for low-income families who might need that extra helping hand.

This organization is very dear to my heart and I have seen the success stories that come out of it, a couple of graduates of the program even sit on the board with me, paying it forward to help the children in need today.
