For over 90 years, the Junior League of Long Beach (JLLB) has been a driving force behind transformative initiatives that make our city stronger, healthier, and more vibrant. Through leadership development, hands-on volunteerism, and deep community partnerships, JLLB has launched and supported over 60 impactful programs that uplift women, children and families across Long Beach. One of our most meaningful initiatives is our Prom Party program, which supports high school students experiencing housing insecurity. By providing new formalwear, accessories, beauty products, and personalized volunteer support, Prom Party empowers these resilient students to celebrate a milestone they’ve worked hard to reach—feeling seen, supported, and celebrated.
