MOWLB serves a vulnerable population consisting of elderly & disabled persons who are home-bound due to a chronic illness, recent surgery, the effects of aging and/or individuals suffering with mental illness. MOWLB clients are typically isolated and have no ability to shop or prepare healthy meals. Our goal is to provide not only nutritious meals, but a social connection for these individuals that can assist them age at home safely and comfortably. MOWLB is the only program in the city that provides this type of safely net for over 300 home-bound individuals.
