Founded in 2021 in Long Beach, California, 10Twenty-Four is a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping families connected during and after parental incarceration, while strengthening families and communities through support, education, and empowerment.

We serve communities across Long Beach and parts of Orange County, providing essential resources, youth mentorship, and family-centered programs that uplift, educate, and unite. Our goal is simple but powerful: build stronger families to build a safer, stronger future.

What We Do:

  • Family Connection Program: Our 10TwentyFour Connection provides free monthly transportation for children and caregivers to visit incarcerated parents across California.
  • Youth Mentorship: Our mentorship and life skills program teaches youth confidence, entrepreneurship, hygiene, and communication-helping them become productive, goal-driven adults.
  • Gang & Drug Prevention: We offer workshops and awareness programs to steer youth away from violence and substance abuse.
  • Family Bonding Programs: Our Me and My Child Program helps rebuild relationships between children and their parents.
  • Community Events & Awareness: Bringing families, businesses, and resources together to strengthen the community.

Why It Matters:

  • Children with strong, consistent family bonds are 70% less likely to drop out of school and more likely to avoid incarceration themselves.
  • Communities with youth mentorship programs experience lower crime rates and higher graduation and employment rates

When children stay connected to their incarcerated parents in healthy, supportive ways,  it helps preserve emotional well-being, reduce trauma, and foster long-term positive relationships. Pairing that connection with mentorship and life-building tools gives our youth the substance they need to choose a better path.

10Twenty-Four is making a difference

We've supported over 200 families and youth through transportation services, food drives, mentorship, education, holiday toy giveaways, and more. While our focus is on families impacted by parental incarceration, our programs uplift entire communities-reducijng the risk of future incarceration and helping build a safer, stronger Long Beach.

Our Vision

We envision a future where families stay connected, youth are empowered, and communities thrive. Through support, education, health, nutrition, and vital resources, we foster resilience, growth, and lasting success.

When we keep families strong and connected, we create a ripple effect of healing and hope-one family at a time.

Mission

Dedicated to keeping families connected and empowering communities. We provide programs and resources that support families affected by parental incarceration, youth development, and community growth. Through education, bonding activities, and essential services, we strive to create opportunities for stronger family relationships and a brighter future for our communities.
