Eager to find help for her son Roberto, Alma attended our Christmas outreach event. The teen had been bullied at school and faced challenges in class. A caring youth outreach counselor quickly met with Roberto and enrolled him in our Elevated Minds Program. The family received case management, counseling, access to workshops on self-esteem and communication, and referrals for developmental disability and educational services. In our welcoming environment, Roberto felt safe to share that his family had recently lost everything due to a period of homelessness. To further support overall well-being, we provided him with clothing, school supplies, and gifts during the holidays.
Thanks to generous donors like you, Roberto is now on the path to a healthy future and academic success.
