23 Seeds of Greatness serves the Long Beach community by equipping youth with skills that enhance their life experiences through academic, social, and personal development. Our mission is to plant seeds of greatness into our youth so they grow into empowered, purpose-driven leaders who give back to their community.
Through our flagship SEED23 Collective Academic Leadership Program, we offer youth in grades 9–12 mentorship, college and career readiness activities, leadership development, community service, and scholarship opportunities. Youth participate in college tours, workshops, and conferences while building strong peer bonds and receiving guidance from mentors and alumni.
We also offer group counseling, youth empowerment activities, leadership camps, a summer activation program (when funded), and a one-year college transition and mentoring program for graduates. Our programming focuses on social-emotional development, mental health, character education, violence prevention, and fostering youth voice and leadership.
Additionally, we provide internships, workforce development, and academic college counseling to ensure students are career-ready. Our annual Anti-Violence Youth Conference brings the community together to uplift youth and promote safety and unity.
