The B-RELYT Organization, Inc. (B-RELYT), doing business as Black Math Collective, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to STEM education, with a mission to empower communities through math equity. We believe math is the gatekeeper to a student’s future, and we focus on the “M” in STEM—because it’s the foundation that makes the world go round.

Founded in 2017 by Kimlin Johnson, B-RELYT was created to address the severe deficiencies in STEM skills affecting students across all communities.

At B-RELYT, we believe that mentorship—combined with a strong foundation in mathematics—is the cornerstone of success in STEM education. We are passionate about helping students understand math and science on a deeper, more meaningful level.

In addition to our student programs, our Community Outreach initiative, The Nonprofit Project, supports other underserved nonprofits in navigating the business side of their operations, ensuring they have the tools to grow, sustain, and thrive.
