So many members of our community are facing economic challenges - it’s hard to know where to begin...
At the Children’s Dental Health Clinic (CDHC), we provide support when those challenges limit a family’s ability to prioritize and pay for their children's oral health care. Our programs and facilities are also designed to support the unique needs of youth with disabilities or medical complexities. In short, we provide kids and families with the comprehensive, compassionate and quality dental care that everyone deserves!
As the safety-net oral health care provider for children and young adults in greater Long Beach, southern Los Angeles County and northern Orange County, we serve 5,500 economically disadvantaged children and families each year, but we can't do it without you!
The vast majority of our patients are covered by Medi-Cal Dental through California’s Medicaid program. We typically only receive about half of our true costs through insurance reimbursements, but we are committed to providing comprehensive care regardless of a patients’ insurance coverage or their ability to pay whenever possible. That's why we need generous people like you to help us provide care to the children and families who need us most!
You are helping to provide five much-needed oral care kits for local youth and families with your $25 donation. |

You're helping to support one of our more fearful patients through a specialized cleaning using nitrous, or laughing gas, with your $75 donation. |

You are helping a child undergo a full mouth rehabilitation under sedation, in partnership with an anesthesiologist, with your $2,500 donation. |
