Support Child Lane Through Long Beach Gives
At Child Lane, we believe every child deserves a strong start. That’s why we focus on the whole child by providing nurturing care, a safe environment for play, early education, nutritious meals, and family support services. Our goal is simple but powerful: to ensure that every child will be prepared to take full advantage of their early childhood education.
We operate five licensed child care centers across Greater Long Beach, support a network of 45 licensed family child care providers, and oversee nutrition programs in nearly 525 family child care homes, all working together to uplift children and families in our community.
How Your Donation Helps
This year, we’re expanding our services to include occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy for children who need additional support. Your donation through Long Beach Gives will directly fund these essential services, helping us meet the evolving needs of our community and continue our mission of supporting children to be their full potential.
More About Child Lane
Our Impact
What began in 1984 as a single location serving just a few children has grown into a vital community resource. Today, Child Lane reaches nearly 6,000 children daily through our Early Care and Education and Nutrition Programs.
Over the past 40 years, we’ve positively impacted the lives of more than 160,000 children and their families, not just meeting immediate needs but laying the foundation for lifelong success.
Vision
All children will have a happy, healthy childhood where their strengths and identities are protected and celebrated.
