Families work hard to create stability, safety, and opportunity for their children—but sometimes, life doesn’t go according to plan. An unexpected challenge can place additional pressure on a family that is already doing everything it can to stay on solid ground. At Children Today, we believe families should not have to face those moments alone. Our Family Stability Fund helps us be there when the families we serve need support, providing a flexible source of assistance during times of unexpected hardship.

This Long Beach Gives, our goal is to raise $10,000 to strengthen the Family Stability Fund. Your support helps Children Today maintain the resources and flexibility to respond when families face challenges that threaten their stability. Because of the generosity of our community, families can know that support is available when they need it most. Together, we can create a stronger safety net that helps families navigate unexpected challenges, maintain stability, and keep moving forward.
About Children Today
Children Today is a nonprofit organization that provides trauma-informed child development, preschool, and support services to families with young children who are facing homelessness and/or maltreatment. For nearly 30 years, we have worked hand-in-hand with families, helping them build strong foundations and brighter futures.
The mission of Children Today is to foster stability and success in children and families who are facing homelessness or who are involved in the child welfare system. We do this by providing trauma-informed child development and family support services. Our vision is that all children under age six who have experienced homelessness or abuse and neglect will have a safe, nurturing place to spend their days playing, learning and growing, while their parents take steps towards stability.
