Common Ground Grief

Common Ground Grief exists to ensure no child, teen, adult, or family in Long Beach has to grieve alone. Over the past year, we've supported more than 1,500 individuals through peer support groups, family workshops, grief camps, education, and grief therapy all offered for free or at low cost to every family or individual who needs them.

Grief support can look differently for everyone. For some, it's a weekly support group. For others, it's a day at camp, a family workshop, a community event, or individual grief therapy. Common Ground is Where Grief Meets Community in Long Beach and that's what we're building, one program at a time.

None of it happens without this community and our amazing volunteers. Across our services, donor support is what makes these programs and experiences accessible to any family or individual who reaches out for support, regardless of ability to pay.

This Long Beach Gives, we're raising $11,350 to sustain and grow that support. Your gift, in any amount, helps us keep every one of these programs running for the families and individuals who need them.
