Creative Art Events was founded in 2024 with a powerful vision: to create spaces where art, environmental awareness, and community connection come together.

As the planet gets hotter and climate justice becomes more urgent, people need spaces to process, express, and act. We believe that creative expression is not only healing, it is transformative. Taking time to make art improves mental health, fosters connection, and helps turn neighbors from strangers into friends.

We host hands-on classes, workshops, and public art events focused on environmental themes. Always fun, always accessible, and open to all ages. Our events are designed to:

Rather than prescribing what’s “right,” we encourage participants to explore what matters to them. We’re here to guide, support, and celebrate the ideas and stories that emerge through making.

👗 Our Story
From Trashion to Transformation Creative Art Events began after the overwhelming success of the first annual Trashion Show Long Beach  A community fashion show where designers of all ages, from five year olds to elders, created wearable art from discarded materials. Held on the main stage of the Long Beach Playhouse, the Trashion Show brought together emerging artists, professional designers, and everyday community members in a joyful celebration of sustainability and style. It was proof that people are hungry for creative ways to care for the planet and for each other. And that was just the beginning.
