At Food Finders, we believe no one should go hungry, especially during the holidays. Each year, we provide 2,500 holiday meal boxes and Thanksgiving turkeys for food-insecure families, seniors, and children at our Sort & Pack Thanksgiving Distribution. But we can't do it alone. We need your help to sustain our Holiday Food Program.
Your Gift Makes an Impact
For 37 years, Food Finders has been a steady source of food for our 280+ partner nonprofits and the low-income families and individuals they serve. Last year, we faced a significant cut to our Thanksgiving budget. With food prices continuing to rise, our ability to provide holiday meal boxes and turkeys to food-insecure families is at risk. We need your help to ensure that the most vulnerable in our communities will receive the holiday meals they deserve.
You can help us get ahead of holiday hunger. Your gift through Long Beach Gives will support our Holiday Food Program, which distributes holiday meal boxes and Thanksgiving turkeys to struggling families, seniors, and children during the most emotionally difficult time of the year.
About Food Finders
Food Finders rescues more than 1 million pounds of food each month and is a crucial resource to nonprofits providing food in the Long Beach area and throughout Southern California. Whether it is large shelters, group homes, or school pantries and youth programs, we serve thousands of our Long Beach neighbors. Our outreach includes a large section of the community, supported by food donors, volunteers, and businesses working together to ensure nobody has to struggle to find food. We accomplish this with a dedicated staff, a small army of amazing Food Rescue Hero volunteers, and loyal supporters.
