About Us
Forgotten Children, Inc. (FCI) was founded in 2006 by Pastor Paula Daniels with a bold and compassionate mission: to rescue, restore, educate, and bring hope to victims and survivors of human trafficking. What began as a small outreach has grown into a trusted, community-rooted organization serving some of the most vulnerable individuals across Los Angeles County and beyond.
Today, FCI provides a continuum of care that supports survivors at every stage of their healing journey. Our programs include:
Road to Freedom – Emergency Support Services:Providing survivors with immediate assistance including food, clothing, transportation, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
Case Management & Supportive Services: Offering personalized, trauma-informed guidance to help survivors stabilize, access essential resources, and work toward long-term goals.
Rachel’s House of Healing (RHH): A safe, structured environment designed to support survivors through stabilization, healing, and restoration. RHH provides trauma-informed care, life-skills development, mentorship, and a supportive community where survivors can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Youth Initiative & Prevention Education: Empowering youth with tools to recognize grooming, exploitation, and unhealthy relationships, while building leadership, resilience, and awareness.
Drop-In Center Services: A safe space where survivors can access meals, hygiene items, classes, support groups, and compassionate staff ready to help.
Community Outreach & Training: Engaging parents, educators, faith communities, law enforcement, and local partners to identify trafficking, support survivors, and prevent exploitation.
Every year, FCI serves more than 4,000 individuals through direct services, prevention programs, and community engagement efforts.
At Forgotten Children, Inc., every life matters. Every survivor deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to start again. When you support FCI, you are not just giving to an organization—you are investing in transformation, protecting the vulnerable, and helping restore hope where it’s needed most. Together, we are fighting for freedom one life at a time.
