We provide specialized therapy for human trafficking and child sexual exploitation victims ages 2+ in Long Beach, and their families. Our unique approach focuses on ending transgenerational trauma and the vicious cycle of violence and abuse, thereby wielding treatment as a powerful tool for prevention that protects future generations.. Our therapists are carefully selected for their dedication to our mission, their excellence as clinicians, and their capacity for empathy. We work as a team, and provide support to each other. We expect our therapists to practice what they preach, while continuing to learn about different treatment styles in order to strengthen their arsenal and become the very best therapists that they can be.

We work directly with local agencies such as the Dept of Homeland Security (office in DTLB), Pacific Gateway, the LB Human Trafficking Task Force, the Long Beach Unified School District, Gems Uncovered, and more in order to address the needs of survivors. It is important to us to be able to provide support however we can, whether through direct services or by training organizations so that they are better equipped to serve this population. We are Core Team members of the LB Human Trafficking Task Force and contribute to meetings and events (such as the yearly Youth Empowerment Safety Symposium) . Humansave is also an active member of the LB Chamber of Commerce, where our Founder serves on the Women's Business Council board.

As a former student in Long Beach from 1st grade through University, our Founder prioritizes facilitating Awareness + Prevention workshops in our community so that youth, families, businesses, and concerned citizens are better able to protect themselves and their loved ones. Our unique student workshops are tailored to the needs of the participants and is constantly adapted to include current trends. We are dedicated to opening a discussion with students that allows us to constantly learn from them, so that we are able to incorporate new findings into future trainings. Among the topics that they often speak about is recruitment; many of our students across different high schools last year mentioned that boys were being targeted online by strangers, and that the students in general were being noticeably followed from school by strange vehicles.

We have a MOU with LBUSD and have facilitated free Awareness + Prevention work shops to middle and high schools in Long Beach since 2018, through which we have trained over 400 youth and counting.

We love Long Beach and are wholeheartedly invested in this wonderful community!
