Latinos in Action is a proud community partner on a variety of coalitions . We are actively building a base of leaders that help create a more equitable Long Beach. Through our leadership development courses we help predominantly women overcome any barrier they may be facing either at home or in their personal life. We offer a variety of trainings and community programs that help educate local residents about the different resources that exist throughout the city. Our advocacy focuses on community health, education, housing, and immigration.
Since the pandemic started last year, we have been working on helping families in need by providing food and health care kits to all and specially to elder people.
Latinos In Action is based in the city of Long Beach but works with surrounding cities too. Latinos in Action California believes that everyone has a right to succeed and be recognized as a valuable member of society. We believe that marginalized communities in California, including the Latino community, should prosper.

"On March 202 I was in a very enriching Conference that as its name says "REBORN" Faith, Gratitude and Resilience, words that we need in these difficult times of the Pandemic. I loved Pastor Sandra's words. Dr. Partida's explanation helped me say "Yes" to the Covid-19 vaccine. The words of each of the panelists were transformative, I cried, laughed, and came out full of positivism. After a long year with no activities, this conference filled me up a lot. Dr. Lisa Jimenez said "We are a Miracle of Love" and in Mrs. Elsa O'farrill's message "We need to equip ourselves and I say: every day is a new opportunity to grow and share the love of our neighbor," .God bless everyone who was a part of this event. Thank You Latinos in Action California!" -Ana Lara
"My experience in the leadership program was a very important step since it has allowed me to develop other skills that I did not have in different groups within the community, for example, housing, immigration, and learn to do advocacy for the whole community, not just for me and my friends. And I was able to work as a team with leaders who provided their knowledge." -Maria Loeza
" I participated in the Leadership Program 2020 from Latinos In Action California . In my experience, tis program was full of lessons.
