This year, Long Beach Cancer League's Long Beach Gives campaign will raise funds to support Infusion Center Upgrades, benefiting both JJCCI, the pediatric institute, and TCI, the adult institute.
MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital are one of the largest and most comprehensive (19 specialties) medical campuses in the country. The hospitals provide $123 million a year in community benefits, including charity care, support for Medi-Cal and Medicare, and a variety of community support programs. Under the umbrella of MemorialCare, the Todd Cancer Institute (TCI) and the Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Institute (JJCCI) are the beneficiaries of the League's fundraising efforts.
The nationally recognized physicians and clinicians at TCI and JJCCI are active researchers, not only keeping abreast of the latest evolutions in cancer care, but also creating them, and brining new levels of vitality to their award-winning cancer programs.
MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach are community-based, nonprofit hospitals.
Annually, Long Beach Cancer League hosts a fundraiser to benefit the comprehensive wellness support programs for adults at the Todd Cancer Institute at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, as well as the Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Institute at Miller Children's and Women's Hospital.
The Sundance Soiree benefits the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute and the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Institute, providing critical resources, compassionate care, and support for cancer patients and their families.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, and volunteers, the Sundance Soiree raised $225,000 to support these extraordinary cancer care programs. This year, we invite you to be part of the team helping continue that impact.
During the holidays, the League sponsors Adopt-A-Family providing gifts and food to families dealing with cancer.

Annual Cookie Drive
Our annual Cookie Drive collects homemade and beautifully decorated store bought cookies, that are assembled into tins that are delivered to the Jonathan Jaques families as well as to the JJCCI medical staff and the doctors and nurses at the Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Kudos and thanks to Cookie Drive Chair Fay Abed.
A fundraising auxiliary for cancer research, advocacy, and patient support services since 1975. Proceeds currently benefit the Jonathan Jaques Children's & Women's Hospital and MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Medical Center.
