Long Beach Police Foundation

The Long Beach Police Foundation's impact reaches all of Long Beach. We aim to support our officers by meeting as many funding requests for training, equipment and community outreach to be on the cutting edge of public safety. Through community outreach, the foundation funds events that support children and youth, seniors, and those experiencing homelessness.

Our Shop with a Cop focuses on elementary school aged students living at or below the poverty line. At Shop with a Cop, we are able to provide school supplies, a hot breakfast and a $100 shopping spree to elementary students living at or below the poverty line and position them for academic success.

Youth are empowered through the Police Youth Explorers Program that introduces teens to law enforcement, offers mentoring, and promotes community engagement and volunteerism. It is a leadership focused approach that reaches students from high risk backgrounds.

The Senior Police Partners are senior citizens who volunteer hundreds of hours annually to the Long Beach Police Department including patrolling, DUI check-points, event support, and community presentations to bring awareness to senior safety.

Lastly, we support the Quality of Life Outreach Unit that addresses homelessness in the city. We help officers secure transportation, documentation fees, emergency temporary housing, food, rehabilitation enrollment and other immediate supply needs to equip and empower those experiencing homelessness.

The Long Beach Police Foundation is committed to enhancing the city through its outreach initiatives and in support of the great work of our officers.

Partner with us to meet our goal of raising $30,000.00 to continue supporting these needed services in our community with a rough goal of $10,000.00 toward youth programs, $10,000.00 toward Quality of Life Homeless support and $10,000.00 to support our officers.
