Young Life doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight - they take time, patience, trust and consistency. Some kids gain a mentor for years, staying in touch with their Young Life leader well into adulthood. Some kids go out into the world knowing someone believes in them. Some kids learn life skills they wouldn't get elsewhere. Some kids walk away from Young Life carrying the love of Jesus. And some kids stay with Young Life, becoming staff, growing in their skills and in their faith.

Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them - fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we think matters most of all - the truth about God and His love for them.
