Love in the Mirror

Love in the Mirror (LITM) is the implementation of Jonas Corona's (a 6-year-old) dream of creating a better community through promoting self-love. Recognized as a not-for-profit leader in community service-based volunteer initiatives in Long Beach, we have a thirteen-year history as a model for youth-based community service programs. We focus on teaching students in underresourced areas of Long Beach the importance of self-love and positive community engagement.

Over the past thirteen years, our organization has inspired millions and served over 85,000 people by sharing resources like food, clothing, personal hygiene items, toys, and learning materials. In 2022 alone, Love in the Mirror collected 9,869 pairs of socks, $4,500 in school supplies, 246 new children's books, 784 new toys, and 5,254 hygiene items. This year we are raising money through our Long Beach Gives campaign to help fund our work in Long Beach.
