In 1963, the Fine Arts Affiliates of CSULB (FAA) was formed as a social and charitable organization designed to provide members with social and cultural experiences and students majoring in the arts at CSULB with scholarships and patronage. During our 60 years of existence, FAA has provided over 700 scholarships to students in the six departments of the College of the Arts (COTA). An endowed scholarship has also been established so that FAA scholarships will continue for CSULB students in perpetuity. FAA also promotes participation by its members and the Long Beach community in the activities of the COTA students, showcasing their many talents.

Testimonials

"So gratifying to see the smiles on the faces of the students receiving scholarships from FAA!"
Anonymous, 2022

"There is no finer benefit of membership than knowing that our philanthropy goes directly to the development of the talent of student scholars - musicians, composers, painters, sculptors, industrial designers, textile artists, dancers, actors, filmmakers, playwrights and film and electronic artists. They never cease to astound our senses and lift our spirits."
