Sycamore Creek Community Charter School

At Sycamore Creek Community Charter School, we believe education is about nurturing the whole child: head, heart, and hands.

Sycamore Creek is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in TK through 8th grade. Guided by the Core Principles of Public Waldorf Education, our approach brings together strong academics with art, music, movement, nature, and hands-on learning. Students don't just learn about the world around them, they paint, build, plant, create, explore, and experience it.

Just as important is the community we create together. We want every child and family at Sycamore Creek to feel welcome, valued, and an important part of our school. Our students are encouraged to think critically and independently, approach others with empathy, embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Your support through Long Beach Gives helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities and experiences for our students that extend beyond the classroom. This year, our fundraising priorities include improvements to our outdoor play space, including playground equipment, as well as supporting our 8th grade field trip.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps our Sycamore Creek community continue to grow and gives our students more opportunities to learn, play, create, and experience the world together.
