The Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Long Beach is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing immediate emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing trauma in the wake of an emergency. Our team of carefully screened, highly trained volunteers is available 24/7, 365 days a year—ready to respond whenever the need arises.
Since 2021, TIP has proudly served the Long Beach community. Our volunteers are called to the scene by law enforcement, fire departments, and hospital personnel to support victims, families, friends, witnesses, and bystanders. In the moments after tragedy strikes, we offer compassion, guidance, and resources—helping people take their first steps toward healing.
