Amanda's Doggie Rescue

A nonprofit organization

Amanda's Doggie Rescue is a new organization operated by Amanda Potier, an attorney in Long Beach. Amanda's love for animals is widely known in the community. Senior Dogs who have been abandoned by their owners are hearbroken. They have been loyal companions and do not understand why they are being thrown away due to their age. The Long Beach Animal Shelter currently houses many senior dogs who are rarely adopted. A rescue center devoted to these senior dogs would provide these animals with the quality of life they deserve in their elder years.

Mission

Amanda's Doggie Rescue currently focuses on rescuing elderly dogs in Long Beach that have been abandoned by their owners. The organization pays for medical treatments, grooming, food, foster care and other support for these animals. The organization's ultimate goal is to purchase property to house a fully equipped rescue center in Long Beach in order to provide these elderly animals with a happy, loving and nurturing life for the few years they have left.
