Fix Long Beach was founded in 2013 with a mission to reduce unwanted cats and dogs from ending up in the shelter by offering low cost surgical and spay and neuter services to individuals that could not normally afford these services. Since 2013 we have been able to help over 25,000 pets. While our main mission is spay and neuter, we have also rescued and found forever families for hundreds of dogs and cats. Recently we opened a parvo ICU and were the first hospital in to country to carry a revolutionary new parvo treatment for dogs.
Previously we had monthly or bi-weekly mobile spay and neuter clinic in local parks in Long Beach. At each clinic we were able to spay and neuter 50+ cats and dogs. We also offered low cost vaccinations, flea medications, nail trims and free microchips.
We have been fortunate enough to secure a permanent location and now have a brick and mortar clinic located at 1749 Magnolia Ave, Long Beach, Ca 90813. We offer low cost Spay/Neuter, Dental, Vaccines, Mircrochipping, Bloodwork, Surgical and more for your cat (including ferals) and/or dog. You do not need to be a Long Beach resident.
Fix Long Beach has helped me fix several of my pets. I am so thankful for their Low Cost services. -Delia S
Amazing service and knowledgeable and friendly staff! I took my adopted cat here for spaying and the process was laid out ahead of time and straight forward. Brought her back for a follow up wellness check at the vet was super understanding in hearing about our concerns and addressing all of them. Definitely would recommend this amazing clinic !-Tori K.
I ran into the office on their day off.Not knowing they were close to the public because the door was open. They were in the middle of a meeting in the kibby when I ran in. In my arms was a very sick puppy that I had been given three days ago without knowledge that he had parvo. I\m Am a foster, mom and on the day that I got him.m, I also picked up 2 other four month old puppies. He had been given a parvo diagnosis from a previous vet who didn't want to have anything to do with his care, earluer that mornung. And mt rescue coordinator suggesred i drive the hour to 'fix" because their reputation for curing parvo was top notch. The foster company that I volunteer for is tiny and has no money. The folks at fix basically save this boy's life and I could never explain how grateful I am. They took him in immediately, though. We had very little money and we're going to be out patients, they realized he needed in vet care. And real oversight. They kept in close touch with me about his progress. And they did that out of a great act of kindness because they did not what I couldn't afford that knew he needed. They have.
Texted me and inquired about the state of the other two poppies showing great concern about their health as well so far so good. These are incredibly caring people that do great work and did save my dog's life.So I can't say enough good things about them. I wouldn't suggest running into the office on their day off.I got very very lucky there but... The universe has its mysterious ways. It just shows how kind they were to noy immediately turn me away. They saw rmthe dog in my arms and acted quickly. Just writung this filks me with emotion and gratitude.-Helene U.
Brought my cat in to get spayed and had nothing but an excellent experience from the phone call to the drop off and the pick up everything went great. They were nice and helpful and truly made the process that much less stressful on my kitten and on myself. Any questions I had they were very thorough and helpful, it's always nail biting when a procedure has to get done but this establishment truly does make me and my baby feel at home and in good hands-Alvin L.
