Supporting older adults in our community takes all of us. In Long Beach, many seniors rely on essential services like social connection, wellness support, nutritious meals, housing stability, and help navigating health care. Your support helps ensure these critical resources remain available to those who need them most.

At Meals on Wheels of Long Beach, we provide more than just meals. We deliver nourishment and meaningful human connection to seniors who are homebound, isolated, or unable to prepare meals on their own. Donations directly support meal preparation and delivery, wellness checks, hygiene kits, and additional services that help older adults remain safe, independent, and cared for in the comfort of their own homes.

Who We Are

Meals on Wheels of Long Beach is dedicated to supporting our community’s most vulnerable neighbors by bringing nutritious, prepared meals directly to their doors. We serve seniors, veterans, and individuals facing illness or disability who may not have the ability or support system to access or prepare food on their own.

Beyond delivering meals, our volunteers provide a consistent, caring presence. Each visit offers not only nourishment, but also companionship, reassurance, and an extra set of eyes to help ensure our clients are safe and well.

Our services extend further through supportive resources and referrals that empower individuals to continue living with dignity and independence in their own homes.

At our core, we are more than a meal. We are a lifeline of care, connection, and compassion.
