MOLAA’s Evenings for Educators is a celebrated educational development event that empowers K–12 educators to bring more arts, culture, and trauma informed practices into their classrooms. Each session offers keynote speakers, hands-on workshops, networking opportunities, and access to free classroom-ready resources. Rooted in the principles of safety, collaboration, and empowerment, the program supports educators in creating inclusive learning environments for their students.
What sets this program apart is its intentional focus on collaboration with historically underrepresented communities and the educators themselves. Each event includes guest facilitators who share diverse cultural perspectives through art-making and storytelling. By co-developing materials with teachers, Evenings for Educators respects and elevates the expertise of classroom professionals, making each session both practical and meaningful.
Donating to Evenings for Educators through Long Beach Gives helps sustain a vital resource for our local schools and communities. With your support, we can continue to provide free access to enriching workshops, culturally responsive materials, and meaningful opportunities for educators to grow and connect. Your contribution also helps ensure that MOLAA remains a place for equity, creativity, and healing through the arts.
Together we introduce new ideas, promote inclusion, and reinforce the value of cross-cultural dialogue. Our education department, APRENDE, allows us to bridge a physical gap with our audiences/ community and keep providing you with valuable content to support the arts and you during this time. Thank you for thinking of MOLAA on the fourth annual Long Beach Gives Day as we find new and innovative ways to bring art to our communities when they need it the most!

Dear MOLAA Team,
I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful learning experience on December 3rd, Arteonica Art and Science Collide. I have been sharing my experience with teachers on how the workshop was intentionally designed for all K-12 teachers who can then readily bring art and science into their classrooms. It was fantastic from start to finish. I appreciate everything you do for teachers and their students.
Warmly,
Vanessa Uy
