Youth-led. Community-born. Future-focused.

We are Our Generation Cares (OGC) — born from the pandemic’s aftermath, when young people needed inspiration, social connection, and safe spaces to heal. What started as a response to crisis has grown into a movement of youth leadership, enterprise, and community impact.

Today, OGC is more than a nonprofit. We are a youth-powered ecosystem with real, working enterprises that train, employ, and inspire the workforce of tomorrow:

• OGCares Labs – a coworking and innovation hub led by youth.

• The NextGen Garage – a podcast & media studio where young voices create content for community and partners.

• Desperado Café – a restaurant and safe gathering space, designed and operated by youth.

• LBLCC Talent Pipeline – a bridge connecting OGC fellows directly to internships, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

At the core of it all is the OGCares Fellowship—a 9-month program where youth move through the OGCares Pathway™: Train → Lead → Employ → Impact. Fellows gain career skills, mentorship, stipends, and hands-on leadership experience running our enterprises.

• $100 → A week of fellowship training for one youth leader.

• $250 → Mentorship circles that build professional connections.

• $500 → A monthly stipend for a fellow to fully participate.

• $1,000 → A youth-led podcast series or media project.

• $5,000+ → Sponsor a fellowship cohort or enterprise project, with recognition at OGC events and in our annual Impact Report.

Donors also have opportunities to:

• Sponsor a Fellow – directly support a youth leader’s journey.

• Adopt an Enterprise – sponsor operations at Labs, Garage, or Café.

• Join the OGC Impact Circle – a donor network that meets quarterly with fellows to hear stories and see impact firsthand.
