For many single, working moms in our community, education is their path to a brighter future—but they can’t do it alone.
Through Soroptimist International of Long Beach’s Live Your Dream program, we provide cash grants to women pursuing college degrees or career training while overcoming challenges such as poverty, housing insecurity, and domestic violence.
Our Live Your Dream awards help with tuition, books, childcare, transportation, or whatever they need to keep going.
This year, our goal is to raise $10,000.

Founded in 1924, Soroptimist International of Long Beach has offered programs focused on empowering women and girls. Our organization is composed entirely of volunteers, professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls. There is no paid staff, just women doing their best to help other women be their best.
