Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, Long Beach Gives can provide prizes to encourage giving. In an effort to keep it fun and fair there are a few criteria in qualifying donations for prizes. To be eligible for prizes, donations must be made online via during the time specified for each prize (ie. early giving, overall giving, or power hours). Except for the Random Heart prizes, three nonprofits (*one per budget size) will be awarded $250 for each prize, which will immediately be applied to their fundraising goal. Unique donors are qualified by only counting a donor once during that specific time frame. For example, if a donor gave twice during the campaign, they would only be counted once in qualifying which nonprofits have the most unique donors overall. Budget sizes are divided into three categories: organizational budgets that are less than $100,000 are considered small, organizational budgets that are between $100,000 and $1,000,000 are considered medium, and organizational budgets over $1,000,000 are considered large.
Eligible donations for overall campaign prizes must be completed online via our website beginning on Friday, September 17 at 12:00 am through Thursday, September 23 at midnight.
