From Euthanasia List To Living His Best Beach Life

Meet Andy! Andy was rescued from a shelter in the middle of the desert after being placed on the euthanasia list. He was matted down to his skin, smelly, with severely neglected teeth. Then our vet team found cactus needles embedded in his skin along with deep puncture wounds covering his body consistent of a coyote attack. Our vets believed a coyote may have grabbed Andy and carried him away before he somehow escaped with his life. We may never know everything this sweet boy endured. We knew one thing: Andy deserved a second chance.

Our veterinary team got him healthy again, gave him dental care along with a neuter he needed, and our groomer helped him feel like a brand-new dog.

And then came the best part... Andy found his forever family!

Today, he has a loving family, a mini Aussie sibling and is living his absolute BEST beach life!

This is why we rescue.
