Impact Makers: Empowering teens to explore their potential, serve their communities, and step confidently into the future.
Impact Makers: Skills for Life, Service for Change
Impact Makers – Building Skills for Life is all about helping teens discover who they are, understand the world around them, and make a real difference in their communities. Over 12 weeks (or 8 weeks in the summer), participants dive into important local issues and learn about the resources that support our neighborhoods. Through hands-on service projects, they actively help others while gaining empathy, confidence, and real-world experience. With guidance from the dedicated Impact Makers team and support from their peers, teens build essential life skills that stay with them for years to come.
What Teens Do in the Program:
Participate in weekly 2.5-hour group sessions
Spend 2–3 hours volunteering at local community sites
What Teens Gain:
Explore Identity & Inclusion: Reflect on personal identity, diversity, and community to grow empathy and confidence.
Grow as Leaders: Discover strengths and values through fun, interactive activities.
Create Community Impact: Research local needs and take action with meaningful service projects.
Build Wellness: Learn tools to care for themselves and support others.
