Support Adelante and Inspire the Next Generation

Every child deserves the chance to experience history beyond the classroom. Through Rancho Los Cerritos’ Adelante: The People of Rancho Los Cerritos Program, 4th-grade students receive free field trips to our historic site.

Rancho Los Cerritos welcomes nearly 5,000 students each year, the majority from Title 1 schools. For many of these students, Adelante provides an opportunity to explore a place they might otherwise never have the chance to visit. They discover the history of this land, from its Indigenous roots to its time as a cattle and sheep ranch, the home of the Bixby family, and the museum it is today.

Your donation can help put an entire class of 4th graders on a bus and bring them to Rancho Los Cerritos for a day of learning, exploration, and connection to their community. Every gift helps make these experiences possible for students who deserve the opportunity to see themselves in the history of the place they call home.
