As an OBGYN, I know that health is about more than access to clinical care. For people facing hardship, the cost of healthcare or other unexpected expenses can become a serious barrier to managing their health.
The HHS Fund’s Direct Client Support provides flexible resources for Long Beach community members experiencing urgent health needs. It helps fill critical gaps by supporting one-time costs that can make it possible for individuals and families to access the tools and resources they need during challenging moments.
