Luca & Luna Cabrera. Long Beach Youth Chorus

A year ago, Luca and Luna embarked on their musical journey with the LBYC. Since then, they’ve taken part in numerous performances, including chorus concerts for the community and a performance alongside the Long Beach Symphony. For the first time ever, both had the opportunity to perform solos in front of friends and families of the LBYC, an unforgettable milestone. 

Because their schools don’t offer a choral music program, LBYC has become a special place where their voices can be heard and their confidence can grow. It has given them not just an outlet, but a home where their passion for music can flourish.

Looking ahead to June of next year, they are preparing for an exciting new opportunity: performing at Carnegie Hall in New York. They will be working hard throughout the year to prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, continuing to grow as musicians and performers through the support of the LBYC community.
