As Health Department staff members who serve community members every day, we know that timely access to health resources can make a meaningful difference - especially in times of community crisis, like the COVID-19 pandemic. The Health and Human Services (HHS) Fund's Direct Client Support initiative gives community members supplies for urgent needs and allows them to invest in their health when traditional resources aren't enough.
Donations can help provide medical equipment, supplies, or coverage for one-time costs that ease the impact of hardship and emergency situations. This help reaches participants in any Health Department program and goes far beyond the resources available to us.
