Your gift through my page here will support our nursing students with scholarships, equipment, supplies, and technology as they prepare for their healthcare careers!

I’m Lucy Johnson, and I have been involved with various activities in Long Beach off and on since I was a child splashing in the ocean outside the now (sadly) demolished Pacific Coast Club. In 1980 I moved to Long Beach, and found everything I need right here. 

Now retired, I keep busy volunteering for various activities on behalf of nonprofit organizations, including the Long Beach City College Foundation, where I serve as a relatively new member on the Foundation’s Board of Governors. I am supporting raising funds through Long Beach Gives 2025 on behalf of the Foundation’s Alumni Nursing Endowment Fund Campaign to help LBCC nursing students attain their goals.
