Years ago, I mentored Louie, helping his parents navigate the worries of his elementary school struggles. Recently, I visited the home a colleague and I helped his family purchase, and it was incredible to see him grown into a respectful, loving young man. You never know the impact you might make.
Though I later relocated to Long Beach and left that mentoring program, my passion for supporting at-risk youth never wavered. This drive led me to For the Child (FTC), a remarkable non-profit providing vital mental health care and compassionate support to help vulnerable, abused children heal. Now in my fourth year on the Board of Directors, I am deeply proud to champion an organization that has spent over 50 years transforming young lives and uplifting families right here in our community.
Please support all the work that our therapists and staff do to improve the lives of children who have been abused, neglected, or suffer from emotional or behavioral problems. Your donation will help us provide services to all children, regardless of insurance status.
