For the past 7 years I have enjoyed volunteering at the here, giving house and garden tours, meeting people from all corners world sharing the history of California.  

One of my favorite things is going back in time to the 1870's teaching 4th graders what it was like when the Bixbys owned the 27 thousand acre sheep ranch and the history back thousands of years when the native American tribe, the Tongva lived here.

Please give what you can to keep this tradition of teaching the children this valuable history.
