Water Proof Our Youth

Aquatics Capitol of Americas main goal is to Water Proof the youth of Long Beach. We also fund athletes in local Long Beach schools with much needed gear with our program Grants for Gear. Both of these missions hit home with me. I have been a coach and teacher in Long Beach for over 35 years. I know first hand that 75% of our high school students do not know how to swim. Being a beach city, I feel like this is a life skill too important to ignore. Money raised  will go directly to swimming lessons in the underserved areas of Long Beach. ACOA pays for the swimming lessons. Families just need to sign up and show up. We have successfully put hundreds of youth through swimming lessons and would like to continue this very important program.
