Junior League of Long Beach

The Junior League of Long Beach is celebrating 95 years of community impact. Since 1931, JLLB has been an organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Guided by this mission, the League has developed, supported and launched more than 60 projects, working in partnership with local communities. One of our recent, signature projects is the Prom Party where Long Beach high school girls can get a free dress, makeup, and ticket for their local prom.

Through hands-on experience, members gain invaluable skills in leadership, project management and community engagement, all while addressing our community's most pressing needs. Supporting JLLB is an investment in the empowerment and development of women, and in the young people and future leaders who are trained to make a difference in Long Beach. Every member, volunteer and donor plays a part in carrying this mission forward, ensuring our community continues to have the trained, dedicated leadership it needs to thrive. As we mark this milestone year, we invite you to join us in lighting the way to the next 95 years. Thank you for your support.
