Together We Withstand the Pressure of Time

Greetings Friends and Family,

I am writing to you from the Earthlodge Center for Transformation in Long Beach, where I now live and help tend the land alongside a passionate and dedicated community. We honor and acknowledge that this work takes place on unceded Tongva/Gabrielino land.

I want to share why the Earthlodge means so much to me—and invite you to join me in sustaining this work. The Earthlodge is rooted in Black Southern Indigenous traditions and serves as a place of healing, resilience, and community care. Together, we embody the call to Withstand the Pressure of Time.

Over the past year, I have witnessed, supported, and received deep healing through Earthlodge offerings. I have participated in and helped lead Seasonal Ceremonies, Hands on the Land, Drum Wellness, Healing into the Holidays, Youth Rites of Passage, the Apothecary, and even provided Safe Space support during the wildfires. Each of these offerings has been life-changing, weaving community, culture, and care in ways that continue to inspire me. 

Now, I am asking for your support to keep this work alive and thriving. My fundraising goal is $1,000. If just 20 people can match my donation of $50, we will reach it together. Any amount you can give—big or small—will help.
