Raising For Saving!

Practically speaking, I know very few people have anything left over at the end of the month, and far fewer want to give that away. But here at HSLB, all of your dollars add up to make a real difference in preserving the history of Long Beach, the stories of its people. Real talk-- if this campaign gets funded, I get to purchase fire extinguisher blankets! And sleeves to preserve historic photographs! Cords to keep thousands of pounds of volumes on their shelves during the next earthquake (instead of crushing me like an ant)! It sounds small, and realistically, $500 isn't that much in preservation (because that stuff is expensive!). But it means a lot to history and the work we get to do here.
