As a lifelong educator, I have seen firsthand how a lack of access to essential services during childhood can affect a child not only in the classroom, but for years to come. When children don’t receive the healthcare, developmental support, mental health services, or other care they need early in life, those barriers can follow them into adulthood.
For 80 years, Children’s Benefit League has worked to help change that. By raising funds for five trusted nonprofit partners, CBL helps local children and families overcome barriers to essential care.
What I especially value about CBL is its whole-child approach. Its nonprofit partners provide a well-rounded range of services—including physical and dental healthcare, mental health services, developmental support, and hearing and communication services. Together, they help give children access to the care and support they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
