Every Long Beach neighbor deserves the opportunity to be healthy, supported, and connected to the resources they need. Mothers, children, caregivers, families, and communities all need care. With HHS Fund Direct Client Support, we support neighbors:
° $500 could provide groceries for a family of five experiencing hardship.
° $250 could fund a household essential, like an air-conditioner or medical equipment.
° $100 could support transportation to vital medical appointments.
° $50 could buy bedding for a program participant who is securing more stable housing.
Direct Client Support makes security for Health Department program participants experiencing hardship possible. Flexible funding responds to urgent health needs and provides solutions for sudden challenges.
Your support helps provide more resources to more community members, giving them greater flexibility and stability when they need it most. Together, we can help reduce barriers to health and basic needs while strengthening the well-being of Long Beach.
