Supporting Abilities, Celebrating Lives!

Dear Family, Friends, Community Members and Generous Supporters.

I am reaching out to ask for your support for an organization that is very close to my heart - Agape Christian Homes, a nonprofit organization providing loving homes, care, support and meaningful opportunities for adults with developmental challenges.  

My brother, Paul, is one of the adults who calls Agape home. 

As his sister, one of the greatest blessings I have experienced is seeing Paul happy, engaged, and excited about life. Agape has given him much more than a place to live and hot meals.  The staff genuinely know and care about Paul.  They support him through his daily needs, prepare homemade meals, assist with medications, provide transportation to programs and appointments, make sure he can participate in dances, barbecues, movies, bowling, birthdays, vacations, and community outings.  

But what touches me most is the emotional care they provide.  When Paul has a problem or something is bothering him, he has someone who will listen, talk it through, and reassure him,  They encourage him to relax, let go of the things that upset him, and go out and enjoy his day.  

The staff celebrate his successes, encourage his independence, and help him experience life alongside his peers.  Their dedication goes far beyond a job.  They have become trusted friends and an important part of Paul's life.

Knowing that my brother is cared for with such compassion, patience, dignity, and genuine affection gives me tremendous peace and gratitude. 

Agape doesn't simply care for Paul---they help him live a happy, connected, and meaningful life.

Why Your Support Matters

Agape Christian Homes provides a safe and caring environment where adults with developmental challenges can live with dignity, compassion, and support.  But quality of life extends beyond the home.  Everyone deserves opportunities to enjoy life.  Everyone deserves friendship and connection. Everyone deserves to experience new places an activities.  Everyone deserves to celebrate birthdays and special occasions.  Everyone deserves to feel included in their community. Your donation can help make those opportunities possible for Paul and his peers.  

A contribution can help provide transportations, admission, meals, recreational acitivities, special events, community outings vacations, and other experiences that enrich the lives of Agape's residents.
